1. Available Programs
Goodwill Houston offers free training in retail operations, forklift certification, computer literacy, GED prep, and English as a Second Language. Team members and their immediate family members are eligible at no cost.
2. Volunteer Hours Toward Schedule
Team members may dedicate up to 4 paid hours per month to volunteering at a Goodwill Houston Career Office or community partner event. Coordinate with your supervisor and log volunteer hours in Workday.
3. Internal Mobility
All open Goodwill Houston roles are posted internally for 5 business days before being opened to external candidates. Team members in good standing for 6+ months are encouraged to apply.
4. Career Coaching
Free 1:1 career coaching is available through any Goodwill Houston Career Office. Schedule a session at careers.goodwillhouston.org or by calling (713) 555-0188.
